My Typical Routine

I don't use facial wash/soap/cleanser. I can't seem to use them, they break me out and dry my skin out and I can't be bothered to look ugly. I just use water and acne has been kept at bay. I unfortunately did not know this when I was 12 - 22 years old, I was hit with full on acne face and I still have scars to prove it.

Here's my routine and I know people are going to hate the fact that I don't use soap and its absolutely disgusting, but I have my own solution to my grossness.

1. I wake up and wash my face with good old plain sink water.

2. Dry my face with towel, shirt or blanket, depending on how sleepy I am.

3. Apply moisturizer, right now I'm using Ponds in the blue top (reviews later)

4.  Then I apply my awesome sunblock, I just added this to my routine over the year, but this has changed my life. I'm using Biore UV Perfect Face Milk. The name is totally ridiculous.  I'm almost done with the bottle I'm using, I can't stop raving about this and I don't want to put the full review of it here.

5. Next I put on my make up and head out the door.

6. When I get back home, I "wash" my face with baby wipes. It wipes off all the eyeliner and mascara, its easy and doesn't break me out.

7. I then wash my face with water and depending on my mood I'll put on some moisturizer.

That's it. Some weeks to give me that clean feeling, I do like a simple facial mask, cleans up all my junk. Its been working for the past 3 years and I haven't had like an insane break out since.

blogging shame

Its been crazy.

I haven't posted anything here for almost a year. Total failure. You can't really blame me, I've been busy.

Okay, what has happened since one year ago?

1. I got a new job
2. My father passed away
3. I moved back to America
4. I gave up new job to work at Macy's Department store in Seattle
5. I broke up with the guy I've been with for the past 7 years
6. I dated a new guy
7. I moved back to Malaysia
8. I broke up with new guy
9. I got a old-new job back
10. Trying to get back on my feet and sucking at it.

Good news though! Because I worked at Macy's I have bought so much more new make up and clothes. I now have to restock my closet back to its original size because in the midst of moving countries, I lost over half my clothes. I still have a lot of dresses, but like no casual clothes.

So welcome to my adventure of starting over again, single and not so ready to mingle.
